Bogbain Farm in Inverness was the venue for Victoria and Geoff’s wedding last weekend. This is the first time I have shot at Bogbain Farm and I was pleased that Victoria and Geoff chose me to cover their wedding as I always enjoy shooting at new venues, especially if its local. Bogbain has a chilled relaxed vibe with lots of interesting buildings and spaces, each offering a good variation in light and dimensions. The interiors have a quirky, hand built, organic styling, which complements the space, and is sympathetic to the character of the main steading building. The exterior yards are adorned with lots of vintage farm implements and tractors, which all help to give this place its own unique style.
Victoria and Geoff are part of the Inverness Gaelic Choir who preformed some lovely music during the ceremony. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés in the main bar area before everyone was seated for the speeches in the adjacent dining room. Nick at Red Poppy catering prepared an impressive hog roast which everyone enjoyed before the evening entertainment began.
Here are a few of my favourite images.
